From our waiter Matthew serving the meals to our chef Ahmed looking pleased that his special theme menu "A Trip down The Mediterranean" had been well received, a wonderful evening of food, wine and song was enjoyed as Vic Gilder presented "An evening with FRANK & FRIENDS". Vic covered composers and singers Louis Armstrong,
Michael Buble, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Junior, Errol Garner, Tom Jones, Dean Martin, Cole Porter, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra accompanied by Tommy Dorsey, The Woody Herman Orchestra and Henry Mancini.

During the evening, Vic sang some songs as he walked around the restaurant, singing at diners' tables and also providing accompaniment by playing both the trombone and trumpet.

As the evening drew to a close, many couples got up to dance as Vic provided a generous Encore of That's life, New York, My way, Sailing, a repeat of What a wonderful world, Suspicious minds and ended with a rousing rendition of Meglio Stasera.

Vic is back to present "An evening with FRANK & FRIENDS" again on Friday 19th. August 2011.

FIRST HALF

The Lady is a tramp
I've got you under my skin
Chicago
Fly me to the moon
Misty
The way you look tonight
When you're smiling
Everybody loves somebody sometime
Ain't that a kick in the head
That's Amore
Cry me a river
Haven't met you yet
All I do is dream of you
Let there be love
Mr.Bojangles
Mac the knife

SECOND HALF

Luck be a lady
I won't dance
What a wonderful world
Have you met Miss Jones
Unforgettable
The green green grass of home
Delilah
It's not unusual
Memories
All shook up
Blue suede shoes
Don't
Always on my mind
An American Trilogy
